Austin Bradford, Rejuvenating Traditional Jazz. Join us Sunday March 2nd, from 12pm-2pm.
Austin Bradford is an accomplished jazz pianist from Redding, Connecticut. He has studied classical and jazz music for more than ten years, and has performed in a variety of settings delighting audiences with traditional jazz favorites by Duke Ellington, Tadd Dameron, Eroll Garner, Billy Strayhorn, and many more as well as his original compositions. His accomplishments include performing with the Western Regional Jazz Band for 3 consecutive years, participating in a summer jazz program at Colgate University (2023) and at the New York Jazz Academy (2024). Austin shares his love of jazz with the local community, performing regularly as a guest pianist at First Church of Christ Congregational in Redding, and at Make Music Day in Ridgefield. He has also played on the streets of Ridgefield and at many open mic venues locally and in New York, Boston, London, and Lisbon.
